Shalom Oz Uziel - CEO

 

Shalom Oz is the CEO and manager of the Korpus Group, comprised of:

  • Korpus 1 - School for Security

  • Korpus Academy - School of Security and Disaster Management

Shalom Oz has 38 years of diverse experience, including among other things: Management, consultation, instructing, training, building courses, as well as serving in command roles in the Israeli Border Patrol's elite counter-terror unit, the Special Police Unit (YAMAM) and in the National Security System of Israel (El-Al).

Shalom Oz is one the most senior and experienced combat instructors in Israel, finishing the instructor course at the top of the class. He has trained thousands of people, and generations of warriors and security officers in various units and sectors, and as security consultants.

Shalom Oz is an expert in the fields of vulnerability assessment for emergencies, building and training teams for emergency response, practical management in emergencies, and crisis solutions. A year after 9/11 terror attacks in New York City, he was invited by the New York City council as a consultant for the city. During his stay, he gained experience while training personnel from many American companies in Manhattan in response and conduct to emergencies. On his return to Israel, he continued to gain experience and specialized in counter-terrorism and disaster preparation.

His abilities and experience from his years of service are reflected in his advisory and training services to companies, organizations, government organizations, and others in Israel and abroad. Among his clients are: The Israeli Prime Minister's Security Service, The Jewish Agency, The Israeli Department of Justice, and many others.

Shalom Oz has a degree in Middle-East studies and The History of Africa at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He is also does life coaching and has trained in two of the leading programs in Israel. His chosen program was Threat prevention workshops.

Chagi Nir - Chief Instructor

Chagi Nir holds a B.A. from Haifa University and an M.B.A. from the Derby University in Israel

Nir is the former head of the Department for Security and Operational Support of the Israeli Security Agency, and is currently a security consultant for government and private organizations, local and international, among them military and police officials. Due to his experience and professionalism, he is known to the Israeli Police as a "Security Expert".

His expertise, based on his experience and years of service, is reflected in his teaching and in his other services, such as threat assessment, interactive security planning, writing security procedures, command and control, and more.

Ayelet Oz - Course Coordinator

Ayelet Oz hold a B.A. in Political Science and Education, and an M.A. in Education Management from the Tel Aviv University. She completed both of them at cum laude.

Ayelet has extensive experience organizing and managing courses, projects, conferences, and other events. She previously served as a commander of an officers training course in the Israeli Defense Forces, and as the Event Coordinator of the Department of Education for the city of Ramat-Gan.

Lecturers

 Asaf Hefetz - Israeli Police Commissioner (Retired)

Asaf Hefetz is a senior lecturer at Korpus Academy, and holds a B.A. in Social Sciences from Bar-Ilan University

Hefetz started his military service in 1962 in the 890 battalion of the Paratrooper brigade in the Israeli Defense Forces, and took part in the Six Day War and the War of Attrition. At the start of the Yom Kippur War, Hefetz was the commander of the Paratrooper brigade's training center and, as the war progressed, took command of a force on the Egyptian front. After the war was over, he received command of the 202 Paratrooper battalion and, upon leaving that position, served as the head of the Counter-Terror branch for Infantry and Paratroopers. Due to his extensive experience, he joined the Israeli Border Patrol and was appointed head of the Special Police Unit (YAMAM). He worked to improve the character and moral of the unit and the unit members.

After Hefetz completed his service with the YAMAM, he held several other positions in the Israeli Police: Commander of the Central Unit in the Tel Aviv District, Commander of the Cadet Training School for the Border Patrol, Commander of the Hashpela region and Assistant Head of the Police Operations Branch, Head of the Police Operations Branch, Commander of the Central District, and Deputy Commander of the Israeli Police.

In 1994 Hefetz was appointed the 12th Police Chief in Israel.

Reuven Ben Gal

Reuven Ben Gal holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Business Management. He has also completed the certification Security Officers for Secure Bodies at the Technion and with the Police in Haifa.

Reuven Ben Gal served in the Israeli Police for 32 years and retired as at the rank of Superintendent, as a veteran of the security and license system in the Northern District. He was the chief instructor for Plagim Center for Security Training, and for The Center for Security Management. Among other things, he dealt with: Professional Course Management- from the level of Businesses requiring licenses (in accordance with the different sectors and levels) in all the training centers in Israel, Security Management Courses in cooperation with the police in Eilat and in Neve Ilan in Jerusalem, and courses for Sporting Event Managers and Security in Haifa. He is an instructor for ushers at sporting events. Ben Gal is a consultant in the field of security for business, especially licensing with the police and with the laws pertaining to security for public organization. He specializes in creating programs for security and security files for different sites working with law enforcement to meet the requirements.

Tom Barnea

Tom Barnea holds a B.A. in Behavioral Science and an M.A. in Organizational Consulting and Human Resource Management for Tel Aviv University. He also completed a business team leader course at The Wingate Institute.

Barnea is an organizational consultant, a group leader and trainer, with more than 15 years of experience in instructing, directing, advising, and personal training. Over the years he has instructed, directed, and guided people, managers, and businesses to success in the framework of organization development. He specializes in developing organizations using: organization assessment, organizational intervention, and changes to the organizations structure. His objective is for the entire group to work together in an effective manner.

Barnea brings his extensive instructing experience in the fields of defense and security in Israel. Over the years he has worked with many organizations in the field, including: Security guard training facilities, colleges for security managers and officers, security companies, the Israeli Police, and more. He has trained and certified thousands of security guards, security officers, and security and defense managers, and has taught them a variety of subjects, including: conflict management and threat prevention, assertiveness, body language, working under stress and pressure, leadership, decision making under pressure, and more.

Alex Zohar

Alex Zohar is a senior shooting instructor, certified by the Internal Security Ministry of Israel, and certified to train security guards by the Israeli Police. Zohar brings his experience from years of serving as a soldier, security guard, instructor, and marksmanship officer in the Israeli Defense Forces Special Forces and the Israeli Police. He held the position of Chief Marksmanship Officer in the Israeli Police.

His specializations include: discovery, evaluation, and testing of firearms and other equipment, small arms development at IMI, working as an expert witness in matters of firearms, ammunition, combat, and ballistics; firing range planning and construction, small arms instruction including sniper rifles, and teaching riot solutions up to and including lethal weapons.

Motti Talmor

Motti Talmor holds a B.A. in Orientalism from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and an M.A. in Public Administration from the Haifa University.

Talmor left the security service after being in a number of positions involving aviation security, both in Israel and internationally. He also has extensive experience in threat prevention, starting as a field operator and working his way to team leader, and then to administrator of a school for threat prevention.

Talmor is an instructor in physical security for public and government organizations, and also works with several schools for security and other subjects including monitoring and review, exercises for security systems, intelligence gathering, and others. He is an instructor in all parts of security management, from initial interviews, to recruitment, dismissals, protocol writing, meeting management, seminar organization, and other management protocols.

Menachem Yevlonski

Menachem Yevlonski holds a B.Sc. in Life Sciences, and an E-MBA from Tel Aviv University. He also holds a certification in Organizational Consulting and Development.

Yevlonski is a consultant and lecturer, and specializes in management and development for managers, work management, and improving organizational performance.

Yevlonski is the owner and CEO of the consulting and training company, and is a partner of "Dorot" for guiding managers and private companies.

He formerly served as the head of a school for management, including teaching the heads of The Internal Security Service of Israel.

Saar Sela

Saar Sela studied Middle-East Studies and Military and Defense studies at Ben Gurion University, and Law at Shaarei Mishpat College. He has been a member of the Bar Association in Israel since 2009, specializing in law related to security and workers' rights.

Sela has completed the Security Management course, and has 13 years of experience as a senior combat instructor at the school for security guards, and as an instructor for preventative security.

Itzik Levi

Itzik Levi holds an E-MBA in Business Management from Tel Aviv University

Levi is a business consultant, lecturer, and teacher for manager training both in Israel and internationally, in the subjects of intelligence, management, organic learning, and more.

He formerly served as a manager for senior staff in the fields of intelligence, and research in the Internal Security Service in Israel.

Alex Nachomson

Alex Nachomson holds a B.A. in Behavioral Science, specializing in stress, security, and terror. He has knowledge and experience in physical security, information security, security systems management, emergency system management, exercise design and implementation, instructing, and more.

In the past he has served as the chief for security and emergency operations at Unilever Israel, and as the chief of security at the taxes and fees branch at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. He also served as a member of the regulatory committee for security standards at the Israeli Institute from 2005-2007.

 He is a lecturer certified by the Security Unit of the Israeli Police for the certification of security managers and officers in the subjects of security and crime.

Yisrael Signer - Police Commander (Retired) 

Yisrael Signer holds a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science, and an M.A. in Political Science from Haifa University.

After leaving the IDF Combat Engineer Corp at the rank of Captain, Signer joined the Israeli Police has done several courses to improve his skills, including: Israeli Police Explosive Ordinance course, an engineering course at the School of Engineering in Kent, England, and several command courses with the Israeli Police.

He served extensively in the Israeli Police, serving several positions including as National Operations Officer and head of the instructing team for explosive ordinance.

Signer is recognized as an expert for security and explosives.

He has extensive experience with preparing bodies and compounds for physical security, technology and defense, and situation assessment for routine and emergencies.

Amit Porat

Amit Porat is a member of the faculty of law at Shaarei Mishpat College and is certified by the Israeli Police to teach and certify security personnel in the authority and laws that relate to them.

He has been an instructor for 15 years in both government and private sectors.
