Combat Shooting Instructor Course

The nature and objectives of the course:

  • The course certifies the student to be a shooting instructor

  • The course teaches and provides the tools, and thinking style required to be a Combat/shooting instructor

  • The course introduces the student to the exciting world of shooting and combat along with insight and self-discovery

  •  The course is taught by Shalom Oz (Uziel) – an senior shooting instructor with 35 years of experience instructing thousands of security personnel in security, combat, and shooting techniques

  • Shalom Oz (Uziel) integrates his experience as a life coach with his experience as a combat instructor

  • The course is rich in experience and knowledge from police and special forces members

 

Target Audience:

The course is aimed at anyone interested in working to train people carry firearms and training security forces. The course is suitable for both men and women

 

Course Format:

182 hours:

  • 138 hours of shooting and combat instruction

  • 44 hours of first aid training

The course is 16 days of classes 0800 – 1600

Includes: Presentations, exercises, writing exercises, and planning lessons

 

Certifications:

Certificates of completion will be given at the end of the course

  • Principles of effective training

  • Safety guidelines

  • Positions at the firing range

  • Range management and organization

  • Understanding the dangers in firearms training to the instructor, students, surrounding, and equipment

  • Types of firing ranges

  • Firearm familiarization

  • Practical- Effective work with handguns, submachineguns, and other firearms

  • Recognizing and understanding rifles and instructing

  • Ballistics and firearm mechanisms

  • Rules of engagement

  • Principals of building effective courses including ballistics and ammunition

  • Instructor exercise

  • First aid

  • Final Exams
